“Coaching Is”: The September Series #2
Getting Curious Before Taking Action
We’re often very good at jumping straight to asking: “What should I do?”
But what if, before deciding what to do, you got curious about what’s really happening?
What are you noticing?
What are you assuming?
What haven’t you considered?
What might you be missing?
Curiosity creates possibilites. Instead of immediately looking for the answer, you create space to explore the situation. And sometimes that changes the question entirely.
Not: “What should I do?”
But: “What do I really think?”
You don’t always need more answers. Sometimes you need better questions.
What could you get curious about before you take action?
